Finding Light in the Darkness
It has been a pretty cloudy and chilly week. Yesterday, I did a lot of errands. I mailed 18 cards I had written and two packages. Went to the bank, and did my food shopping for essentials. Was, very surprised as the day went on, the sun came out! It was time for happy hour. Felt great to sit in the sun and read a magazine. Today, I hope to start taking pictures of lots of "stuff" to sell on eBay. One of my problems, I am trying to overcome, is my love of "stuff". The last ten years, I have been able to overcome a lot. But it is still a challenge, and a battle with myself, whenever I buy something. I used to have a weekly habit of going to craft stores. I would buy supplies, because the price was right. I would have it on hand, for when I would have the time. So, this time at home is enlightening. I will never have the time to use what I have. I will finish projects as I go along. But, there is a lot I have, I will never use. Hope, I have more time to spend on the patio today, too. Hope, during this journey for everyone, you are able to find a bright spot, too! If you don't have one......make one!!!
Quote for day : “I find hope in the darkest of days and focus in the brightness. I do not judge the universe.” – Dalai Lama
