How Great The Art

Oh the lessons these morning glories are teaching me!  This summer I made a conscience effort to garden more.  I am back to working full time and when the weather gets really hot like this it becomes a challenge. So, what the one above taught me was about control.  I haven't planted morning glory seeds in the front yard in five years.  I buy the seeds and the packets sit on the window sill until I throw them out a year later.  This year these morning glories appeared all along the base of my house.  Glen mulched the roses like every other year.  And, these morning glories have climbed my big bush in front of my window.  They also are climbing a yellow rose bush.  When I first discovered them I tried to guide them to climb my window.  Hmmm.... I pulled them right out of the ground.  The ones climbing the roses I decided to pull them out while I pruned the deadhead roses.  Today I saw the first bloom right in the middle of the big bush. I can't believe we moved to Brick nine years ago!  This Spring I took the time to find Brick Beach.  I am pleased, but again surprised.  I made my goal to go to the beach as much as possible.  Again, several weeks have gone by without taking my beach chair out of my car.  Today I also realized I haven't been on my weight watchers app for months.  So, I spent the morning cancelling subscriptions to apps I am not using.  Time flies is an understatement.  It's all good, though.  I was treated to much needed time with my grandson.  I also have been selling on ebay.  So far I have had 20 transactions and have made five hundred dollars!  Wooohooo!  I also feel good about being set-up to continue doing this for the rest of the year.  I love setting goals.  Going into the second half of 2020, I am feeling pretty confident of coming out of this year better than before. One of the observations I have made during the whole pandamic is the need to get outside.  I have been enjoying
