Can't Stop the Feeling!

Yesterday was such a good day.  It came after a poor night of sleep, but it ended pretty well.  The first surprise was the weather report said:  Partly cloudy with showers.  By noon, there wasn't a cloud in the sky and it was in the mid-fifties.  This time of year that would mean it would be cooler at the beach.  It was a perfect day for a walk on the beach.  I collected some shells to use in projects and knew just what I was going make with them.  I was happy with the two mile walk and what I gathered.  
This framed piece is a painting I did in March 2018, and what I gathered from my first beach walk this Spring.  I wrote on the back the dates.  The stones I found and the feather is covering a stone that says Soul Driver.  I song I heard the day I went for a walk.  I have never heard it before.  Since, I drive Kia Soul, it is becoming one of my favorites.  
I came home and worked on another one of these framed memory keepers.  I LOVE the way it turned out.  I can't wait to share it tomorrow.  I mailed another letter, which brings the total to 21!  I figured out a lot on my computer, which I have been having trouble with all week.  I should have listings for eBay done by Saturday.  We ate dinner from our favorite restaurant last night, and I set the table real pretty.  There was nothing on TV, so I fell asleep early.  I didn't wake up this morning until 6am.  Which means I got a good nine hour sleep last night.

During this time of isolation and reflection, I am going to embrace and celebrate this little girl. I am not going to go on a diet, plan an excercise stragedy or change my lifestyle. Living alone with the holidays quickly approaching can be difficult. I indulged in something for myself this year. It is an advent calender from Lauduree with parisian sweets. I am kinda obsessed with Lauderee. It is a french bakery and confectionery store originating in Paris. I became familiar with it from social media and artists who would paint pictures of macarons. I collected a few cookbooks. And, when Kaylyn and I visited Paris in 2008, it was high on my list of places to visit. It had a line outside and it was very cold. I hate to admit this, but I wanted the bag, tissue paper and ribbon more then anything. I still have it, because I would like to do some crafting with it. I want to decopauge shells and make a mobile as a homage to where I am living. Take Joy

I finished the wreath! I haven't been able to accomplish so much in one day in a lonnnng time. Bought a tree and had it decorated by 3pm! I am amazed and found joy in doing it.
