Thinking Outside the Box

Celebrating keeping a goal for 21 days. This means I decorated 21 cigar boxes. Photographed each one. Took a video of each one. Most posts include quotes. Shared on instagram by a video with music, which shared each day on facebook. I am learning a lot about creativity and what sparks it. And, each box I am sharing what I love. So, the next part of this will be filling each box with items I want to sell. It started as gift box for the the little mini paintings I have been making. Last night I actually created 6 boxes. This morning I photograped each one and made the video tape. This will allow me to focus on November. In November I will be posting a box each day on ebay. As I am creating. I am also observing, reading and wondering how to get more seen on ebay. That is my main goal! And, if you are a friend on facebook, I don't want you to be annoyed by my daily posts. So, each day I will be posting on my blog each box with a link. I will share my listing on ebay on pinterest. This way my instagram and facebook will be more about being social and no selling. I will have a link to my blog and ebay posted once a week on facebook and instagram. I invested in the Shotbox by We R Memories. Still not convinced I need this but, I don't want to have any regrets about my photographs for November's ebay listings. What I really love is after three weeks of making all of these boxes I am really excited about them. Today, starting to fill each one, they are reminding me of treasure chests. The other part is they will be priced to sell! Each listing will be $9.99 no matter what is inside. Sometimes I will be throwing extra suprises in the box, to truly make it a treasure! I am also going to list one for .99 cents! They will be auction format, because they are each one of a kind. So, if you snooze, you loose! This is to add to the fun of finding a treasure. These will make wonderful gifts! SO easy to gift wrap. I found a bunch of sand dollars, too. Hope to include one in as many boxes as possible.

During this time of isolation and reflection, I am going to embrace and celebrate this little girl. I am not going to go on a diet, plan an excercise stragedy or change my lifestyle. I am simply going to go with the flow of my life, like a river. I am going to get on a big, comfortable floaty and jump in the river. Climb onto the floaty and hold on for dear life. Peace Be With You

Living alone with the holidays quickly approaching can be difficult. I indulged in something for myself this year. It is an advent calender from Lauduree with parisian sweets. I am kinda obsessed with Lauderee. It is a french bakery and confectionery store originating in Paris. I became familiar with it from social media and artists who would paint pictures of macarons. I collected a few cookbooks. And, when Kaylyn and I visited Paris in 2008, it was high on my list of places to visit. It had a line outside and it was very cold. I hate to admit this, but I wanted the bag, tissue paper and ribbon more then anything. I still have it, because I would like to do some crafting with it. I want to decopauge shells and make a mobile as a homage to where I am living. Take Joy

I finished the wreath! I haven't been able to accomplish so much in one day in a lonnnng time. Bought a tree and had it decorated by 3pm! I am amazed and found joy in doing it. Here is something I read in the beginning of December, which always helps: I salute you. I am your friend, and my love for you goes deep. There is nothing I can give you which you have not.
