Let's Hear It For The Girls!

If my morning glories could sing this morning they would be singing "Let's Hear It For The Girls"! I started watching some motivational videos sparked from Brene Brown's latest interview with Abby Wombach from the US Soccer team. We are in the midst of pandemic of covid. But, also a pandemic of NEWS full of negativity, fear and downright meaness. We are forgetting how far we have come as a people. We are NOT celebrating the goodness in American people. We are assuming from what we are told. Assuming is NOT truth. Hear say is not truth. NO ONE knows what the future will bring. We need to have faith over fear. We need to celebrate the NOW and not assume what ONE person is good for the future. I am trying to summarize in my head to write a post about achieving goals and ended up realizing Nike has it right. JUST DO IT! Stop all the talking, overthinking, wondering the outcome, doubting yourself, wasting time and JUST DO IT! One of my favorite quotes I shared this month was "The best way to explain it, is to do it" from Alice Wonderland. I finished my goal last night for October. I made 31 different boxes with assorted themes for the month of October. I accomplished more by buying a light box for photography. I took the time to anylyze what is working and NOT working on Ebay. I figured out how to enjoy 3 days in Atlantic City and 3 days enjoying family in Maryland and not miss a day of posting. I am figuring out how to increase SEO for my Ebay page. I am celebrating this while working full time. Most of all what I learned is during covid I realized I really am an introvert. I really enjoyed being in my house for a long period of time. But, once I was out and back to work, I really feed off the connectivity with people. It so important to have conversations face to face, be out in nature, take drives and shop in person. I also learned this month I have a LOT of creativity that needed to burst out of the box. It really helps if you feel boxed in, to do something, to make yourself happy. I also really appreciated voting early. It just confirms it doesn't matter what nonsence is coming out of watching the news. It all doesn't matter, just voting does. People have the power. Just do it!
