How Great The Art

It's only 6:23 and I have been wide awake for a few hours. Another day to face. Thoughts of the past and future racing through my mind. I wake up optimistic, but sometimes the fears come creeping in my mind. I started to hear lots of noises on my roof and I looked out my window. It was five or six blue jays flying about my patio. They were beautiful and really big. I am starting new projects soon, including bird sculptures. So, they were my perfect models this morning. Love blue jays, and I can't remember a time I saw so many together. I will share a video on facebook today. My Journey to Joy is in full swing. The last part of the trail became the rockiest it has ever been in my life. It has been life changing. Can't really talk or write about it, yet. I have a really good support system consisting of the best friends anyone could ask for. The days have been long and very full. We are getting our house ready to list on the market, very soon. I have been packing and purging. I have discontinued Ebay, but might add some items next week. I also put Trades of Hope on hold. I have made three donations to a couple of stores and Homefront. The donations have given me joy to see their faces. Many exclaiming it was thier lucky day. And one even exclaimed, you are like a fairy. That really made me happy . Yesterday was my first real disappointing day. I went to Philadelphia to sell clothes to Buffalo Exchange. I had a rolling suitcase and an IKEA bag full of Talbots dresses and jackets I couldn't just donate. Well today I will be bringin...

Yesterday I went on a journey to seek answers to Life's Mysteries. They call them life's mysteries because there are no answers. But, I thought going to a few places without leaving New Jersey might help. It did help as I saw so many amazing places. I went to Albert Einstien's house for some wisdom. I went to a hindu temple for some understanding. And, I went to Grounds for Sculpture to view nature and imagination come together with the beauty of creation. It certainly helped and I was able to get a solid eight hours sleep last night. I will share what I saw in my stories today. Mostly what I learned was to appreciate all of life's beauty and to appreciate it and not question it. This is my path, but it is also the path that God is setting out for me, now. Summertime is the best. Sounds, sights and smells are at their peaks. Visiting places like lavender farms, art installations at the beach or just a comfy chair on a patio or porch all can bring comfort. Senses can do the most for making us feel happy. I have had the most amazing three days. It started out as the worst experience of my life, but now is the BEST thing to ever happen to me. I woke up too early. But, in the two hours I have been awake I woke up feeling free. It is the best feeling I have experienced in a LOOOOONGGGG time. More then forty years, if you really want to know. I have a lot of work to do to continue to break away from the chains that have held me down. But judging from this morning, I am on to a better life. These next two months will be a lot of hard work, but I feel like I will be rewarded for a lot of wasted time. I am free....I am free.....at last!!! When thinking of my father all kinds of thoughts come to mind. But, one that is well rooted is remembering him in action at his business which was called Stelle's Stones. I've talked on my blog before how he worked full time as an electrical engineer at Fort Monmouth, father of three and owner of Stelle's Stones. We as a family would travel to gem and mineral shows all over the east coast. Making many weeks endlessly tie together without days off. It was an adventure, seeing the country and spending time in different states. I learned mostly from observing and helping. He would also do some buying at the shows. This would give us time to "man" the booth. But, I watched and learned how to be a good salesperson from him. The most admirable trait he had was his product knowlege. And, how he was at the ready to answer any questions from customers eager to buy from him. That part watching him amazed me . So, going through his small collection I am trying ...

We built some solid memories yesterday. It was a fun preview day at Legoland in New York. I went with my niece and nephew. They drove from Conneticut and I from New Jersey. Both of our drives took about two hours and we each were about an half hour late. I pulled in to my parking space, and to our surprise, we ended up right next to each other! What are those odds??? It was a rainy morning, but again luck was on our side, not one raindrop fell on us. We were ready for anything, since the park had not officially opened yet. We were happy to get on most of the rides with very short lines. The Dragon ride was the best! We had a great bar b q for lunch. It was a perfect day to get some walking in, and see the amazing creations made of legos. They have recreated the major cities of the USA and even the town of Goshen, where Legoland is located.
