November A Time to Remember and Treasure

One week into November and the weather will be sunny and in the seventies this weekend. Usually November is spent on social media sharing what we are grateful for. It will be easy to do this year. Even though we are seeing horrible numbers in hospitalizations for Covid, we are able to know a vaccine is on it's way. The testing is faster, easier and more available, so we can be sure we are not carriers if we are exposed. One thing I have learned during the hardest of times is there is always something to be grateful for. What I learned in October by creating everyday is inspiration can easily flow if we follow and keep what we love close to us. And, in doing so it can help letting go of things we love easier. I could come up with 30 things or themes of what inspires me and brings me joy within 5 minutes. And, to have made all that I did with ease was quite an accomplishment. If you said for me to make 30 different boxes in a month, the task would seem too big to handle. But, it was fun and I feel like I accomplished a lot. What I have found the best motivation by selling on ebay is actually selling something. You can't really control if someone buys something, but, you can increase the odds by listing as much as possible. That is not easy. To list you must take at least five photos, create a title with keywords, enter information, describe what you are selling with as many keywords as possible, and figure out what to charge for shipping. If you did all of this and you didn't sell anything it would be hard to keep at it. So, I am SO SO grateful that I have sold 70 items SO FAR!!! WOOOT WOOOT!!! and about half of my FANTASTIC customers have written feedback and great reviews. This is what makes it so worth while. It is not often you get judged and given positive feedback to make you keep going. It is like having a teacher's approval or cheerleaders. I have a 31 gold star rating which means 31 customers have given me a five star rating. I still have a goal of trying to reach Top Seller status by the end of the year. So, November is key. I have listed everyday so far. I will keep doing this and listing more then one each day to keep up with what is selling. I plan on having 100 items listed for the month of December. But, all the hard things will be done. No more pictures to take and listings to make. Just shipping out orders can be concentrated on in December and relisting. On Sundays in November I will be making a blog post with each box posted that week and the inspirations and little stories that go along with each box. I changed the starting price to $9.99 for each box. I was thrill to have sold five of the six Halloween boxes. Looking forward to November and all that it brings!

During this time of isolation and reflection, I am going to embrace and celebrate this little girl. I am not going to go on a diet, plan an excercise stragedy or change my lifestyle. Peace Be With You

Living alone with the holidays quickly approaching can be difficult. I indulged in something for myself this year. It is an advent calender from Lauduree with parisian sweets. I am kinda obsessed with Lauderee. It is a french bakery and confectionery store originating in Paris. I became familiar with it from social media and artists who would paint pictures of macarons. I collected a few cookbooks. And, when Kaylyn and I visited Paris in 2008, it was high on my list of places to visit. It had a line outside and it was very cold. I hate to admit this, but I wanted the bag, tissue paper and ribbon more then anything. I still have it, because I would like to do some crafting with it. I want to decopauge shells and make a mobile as a homage to where I am living. Take Joy

I finished the wreath! I haven't been able to accomplish so much in one day in a lonnnng time. Bought a tree and had it decorated by 3pm! I am amazed and found joy in doing it. Here is something I read in the beginning of December, which always helps: I salute you. I am your friend, and my love for you goes deep. There is nothing I can give you which you have not.
